The Dam Theater balances on an existing dam at the edge of a lake with views to the landscape.  A recreational landscape floats on the water and serves as a park for boaters.  The park acts as a biological water treatment system, for potable water production and waste water treatment.  The lobby and theater extend over a river valley and frame a scenic view for the audience.  The performance can range from a symphony to the changing of seasons, allowing the audience to simultaneously experience event and place.
